Premier Personnel consistently attracts capable, responsible and professional individuals through the use of effective recruiting techniques. Before we send an applicant to a prospective employer, however, we conduct a multi-tiered evaluation process that ensures our temporary and direct hire employees are qualified and well suited for each placement. As a result, our staffing coordinators get to know each potnetial employee individually.
All applicants are screened over the telephone for work history and experience before an interview is scheduled.
Applicants complete an application, providing work history and educational background. The applicant also provides a skill inventory and career-goal summary.
Candidates complete a series of skills' assessments. The type and level of skills assessed is determined by the candidate's background and career goals. Since the assessments are conducted on-line, the results will be forwarded to a prospective employer upon request.
We conduct an in-depth interview with each applicant and provide orientation that emphasizes professional work habits and employee procedures. Our expectations for attendance and arrival time, along with a review of Premier Personnel's policies concerning EEOC, harrassment and drug and alcohol usage, are explained. Tax forms and the I-9 form are also completed.
To ensure that the best possible candidates are being selected, our staffing coordinators obtain references from former employers. Previous work habits and strengths and weaknesses of job performance are explored.
Security is a high priority at Premier Personnel. Therefore, we conduct a standard background check on all temp-hire and direct hire employees.
